We see some sunshine today with a dry outlook for most of the day. Clouds will be increasing this afternoon and evening.
Showers move over the state through the overnight, likely straddling midnight a bit. Best chances come from 9 pm to 3 am, but we don’t want to get too cute. Rain totals can be from a few hundredths to two or three tenths, but coverage will be limited to 60%. Everything should be gone by Wednesday morning, except for perhaps a few lingering showers in far NE Ohio a little after sunrise Wednesday.
Dry for the balance of Wednesday through Sunday. Temps get a little cooler, and will be just a bit below normal for the period.
Showers return next Monday, bringing .25″-.75″ to 6o% of the state. The best rains will be from I-70 north, but we wont rule them out anywhere at this time. Then we turn drier again for the rest of the 10 day period from Tuesday and Wednesday.
The extended pattern has 2 good rain threats. One comes next Thursday, the 12th, with rains from .25″-.75″ and 70% coverage. Then another front arrives for Sunday with .3″-1.1″ rain potential over 90% of the state. Dry and cool for the rest of the extended period through Wednesday the 18th.
