Nearby, we will be partly to mostly sunny today through Monday. Temps normal to above normal. Clouds will be on the increase Monday midday and afternoon.
Showers and thunderstorms develop after midnight Monday night and continue through the day Tuesday. Coverage ends up at 70%, and rain totals can be from .25″-1.5″. Significantly heavier rains and strong thunderstorms develop over Lake Erie with some rains nearing 3 inches. We will have to watch for those to drift over far northern parts of the state, but right now are keeping excessively heavy rains out of our forecast. Even with out those storms, the best rain totals end up in northern Ohio.
Turning out partly sunny Wednesday, and then staying mostly sunny through Monday the 19th. Temps will be a little cooler to start that period, but then will climb back to normal and above normal levels. The map at right shows 10 day rain potential.
Scattered showers move in overnight Monday night into Tuesday the 20th. Rain totals are expected to be from .1″-.5″ with coverage at 80%.
Sunny and dry for the 21st through the 23rd, then showers and storms develop again later on Saturday the 24th.
