Ellen Schott, a senior at Buckeye Trail and president of their FFA chapter, stopped to visit at the Ohio Ag Net’s Mobile UpLink Unit during the convention. Schott was a finalist for the state Sheep Production award and will attend Marietta College in the fall. |
Monsanto Mobile Technology Unit

| Dale Minyo was joined by Adam Schultz, Tour Manager of the Monsanto Mobile Technology Unit, at their tour stop on the OSU Ag Campus April 21 and 22. The Unit is a unique traveling exhibit that showcases Monsanto's advances in plant breeding, biotechnology and new product innovations in corn, soybeans and cotton. |

T102 Grand Prize Winners were Ron and Seth Kohnen of Celina who farm with Gary Seibert of Rockford. They were finished with harvest so on November 4th Dale broadcasted just outside their machinery building and they were guests on the midday programs. Friends, neighbors and family joined them for lunch the Ohio Ag Net provided. |

They also received a prize package that included: A certificate for $250 worth of soy biodiesel, two tickets to a Cincinnati Red's game courtesy of Fennig Homan Agribusiness, fleece jacket from C&J Agriservice, free oil change for RRR Tire, coat from Buckeye Insurance, $50 gift certificate to Apple Farm Service, $100 worth of seed corn from Crop Production Services and a barn coat from Advanced Agri Solutions. |

WTGR Grand Prize Winner: Congratulations to the Harrods of Rossburg! Galen, Tom, Brian and Korey grain farm and raise hogs and turkeys. Dale hosted his midday broadcast from their shop and Macros Pizza in Greenville provided lunch for them and a several neighbors who joined us. Galen and Brian spoke with Dale about the challenging market and weather conditions they experienced this year while Tom and Korey worked to finish the corn harvest. |
